Yikes!
Not. A. Good. Night. I have been so hungry tonight and I didn't do well at all! I ate fruit snacks, pickles, and as shameful as it is- chips and French fries. My dinner was a grilled cheese. I contemplated about not blogging the bad because it's only day 2. But then I was like jeez, it's only day frigging two!!!!! So I'm being honest and telling you both how awful this evening has been. Tomorrow is another day and I hope it will bring me thoughts of skinny!!
Is it really only day 2?
The fact that I keep thinking this is a "diet" is driving me bananas. As soon as I can't have something, that is all I want. Rita's taco Tuesday sounded great because it was just slight changes that added up in saving a lot of calories that you guys didn't even notice. I found a lasagna that uses tortillas instead of noodles, so I might try that; however, I am a pasta whore.
So, I came home and binged on pickles, seeing how I can eat 50 of them and it'll end up being next to nothing. For dinner I had a salad with grilled chicken, cucumbers, mozzarella cheese, and Caesar dressing. I'll probably have a pudding (hello, 60 calories and my chocolate fix for the day) in an hour or so.
After dinner, Chimi & I went on a 40 minute walk through the trails behind the ball fields. True, we had to stop every 10 seconds for him to sniff, pee, or introduce himself to another dog. But that is more cardio than I did last week, so holler.
Yup, this sums up my life. Day 2 is almost over :) I figure the more I sleep, the less I'll eat.

Day 2: Dinner - Taco Tuesday....
This may be a challenge. It's Taco Tuesday, and in an effort to:
1) not make my poor husband suffer too much and
2) stay true to my love of Mexican food
...Taco Tuesday must prevail....
We are going to lighten it up a bit though - I'm going with ground turkey for the taco meat, Fat Free Sour Cream, and Reduced Fat Shredded Cheese, along with lettuce and tomatoes, and Franks Hot Sauce which has nothing in it...all in all, I think it won't be too bad. Also we aren't going to make cheese dip and have chips with it...so we're probably cutting back on a lot of calories there.
...my goal is to have three tacos....AND STOP. #FatGirlsDontStop
but I don't think that's too bad...considering I've been really good today...
...minus my water in take - that wasn't as high as yesterday, but I'm still drinking water, and no sodas yet!
I'm sure I'll finish the night with a fruit chiller, popcorn, or both....but both of those are under 100 calories.
I sure hope this is working....we'll see come weigh in time on Monday!

I did so great at lunch!! I had a salad and special k cheddar cardboard crisps. The only bad part of my salad were the olives. The cardboard crisps were 110 cal with3 g of fat for the whole bag...I ate the whole bag.
I am hungry again. I'm going to snack on a bag of fruit snacks and some more watermelon.
On a side note...ri ri....why can't I type in the compose format of this blog on my iPad? I can only type in HTML and when I submit my blog it jumbles into one giant paragraph-- I hate that. Maybe il download the blogger app as you mentioned.

Bad News....
"Diets" always come at the best time. I had a living social deal that was going to expire today for Sherri's Berries....so I had to use it to not lose my money....I have one dozen chocolate covered Strawberries being delivered to my house Thursday....had to do it, apparently, I'm part Jew.....
....at least they are a fruit (covered in happiness)
Day One Dinner - Day 2 Start
Guys - no joke. This sucks. I'm pretty sure it's all mental...the thought of being on a diet makes me wanna punch everyone in the face. I have to keep telling myself it's not going to be as bad as I think it is - just make small changes....blah blah blah...fuck.
I was so tired when I got home last night, I thought I was going to die. I have no idea why I was so tired but I just wanted to order a pizza and EAT. Instead, I manned up, got my chicken out of the fridge, put a bit of olive oil on it...and sprinkled this buffalo spice rub on it. I threw that puppy on the grill, along with two hot dogs for Josh, some zuchinni for me, and an ear of corn (also for me). Josh baked some fries in the oven because he A) hates chicken, b) hates Zuchinni and c) Corn doesn't go with hot dogs.
Once everything came off the grill we chowed. It was alright, I love grilled Zuchinni, all I do is cut them up put them on foil, add a little bit of olive oil, not much or they'll get soggy, and salt and pepper, they get nice and mushy and so buttery flavored!! So good! The corn had nothing on it, it was bland, but I figured that was better than the amount of butter I would have justified putting on there to make it taste good. The chicken sucked....ended up dipping it in a little bit of Sweet Baby Rays....next time I'm going Italian dressing on that sucker, that rub was not tasty...
...but I ate it...I didn't have any of Josh's fries...which is hard (Kristina you know).
After dinner, I ate one of my 55 calorie fruit chillers...that helped keep me in check for a bit...but I was still kind of hungry. I kept trying to hold out but then a popcorn commercial came on and I remembered that was a decent healthy snack - so I popped a bag and Josh and watched Mens Olympics and munched on the popcorn...
All in all, I think, not a bad night...
Poor Josh, he's trying to be supportive, but I may kill him eating like this...he's a great trooper!
Also, I had ZERO soda yesterday, one cup of coffee with 2 splenda and 2% milk and water all day long! Be impressed that was hard.
Today -
I have my coffee....still drinking it (I'm slow)
I packed for work:
a non-fat chobani yogurt
one of those tuna pack things (pray for me) because I made the last of the deli meat in a sandwich for Josh this morning
a banana
and the other half of my cantaloupe cut up
Going to try to stay on the water kick.
I also picked up my racquet it's ready to jam - so let's plan a day...
Also I was wondering if anyone wanted to come with me tonight after dinner and do some walking around Maymont - I have to scout out the place for photos and I thought we could use it as a chance to get some exercise in!!!! We can just do one section, maybe the Japanese Gardens or something!?!

For breakfast I packed my 3/4 cup of cheerios and brought water. Maybe that is why I snapped on a kid and sent him out of the room- b/c I didn't have my morning diet pepsi. I did pack it in my lunch, but at least this way, I will drink all the water before getting to lunch. I did pack a sandwhich, rice krispie treat & cucumbers again for lunch, so maybe less than 400 calories for lunch.
Last night when I went to Walmart, I got laughing cow cheese- omg, so good! Each little wedge is 35 calories & I think I'm going to dip my cucumbers in them later. I bought some salad last night too, so I'm going to throw my grilled chicken on it with some cucumbers for dinner.
I'm hungry. I just like food so much!

So last night Adam and I went back on the stroller journey (unsuccessful); however, while we were out he wanted sweet frog. This proved to be very tempting...but we didn't do it! I was able to get some walking in for a little exercise. I've got to do better about being on my feet longer...I'm really out of shape and am gonna die when I go back to work. I can't stand for too long without my back screaming at me!

it's all Kristina's fault
I had to go to Walmart & buy watermelon after reading her posts. It was all I could think about :) I think I have a black mommy- watermelon, mac n cheese, & friend chicken is a perfect meal for me.

Ok, here is my dinner. I used my George Foreman for like the 2nd time since I moved in to just grill a chicken breast. Don't let the mac n cheese fool you; it is one of those "healthy" meals. For what it was, it was that bad.
Well, I'm done eating for the night. Let's have a girls night at my house or something & I'll make a somewhat healthy meal (I can make a mean & decorative salad) complete with gallons of milk ready. Plus, you'll get to meet my new roommate. LOL.
Happy dinner time! Kristina, when you do the bread crumbs on your chicken, do you throw it in the oven? I usually do an egg/milk soak and then dip them in bread crumbs, fry it for a little (I know, big no no) and then bake it for a bit. Tonight I enjoyed my grilled chicken with some onion powder (onions & garlic, I don't know which one I enjoy more).

okay, so I weighed myself...it's not pretty. i'm 221 :( ....and gaining!
anywho...had mini wheats for breakfast, got hungry about an hr. later and cut up watermelon (ate as I cut).
Lunch i had about 4 slices of low sodium/low fat white am. cheese and some chips :(
I was hungry again about 2 hrs. later so I ate the fruitsnacks that I packed in my purse for when I went out to run errands.
2 hrs. after that (current time) i am hungry again so i ate a pickle and now i'm currently munching on a bowl of cut up watermelon.
all the while, i've been drinking my water out of my sans-hole tervis cup.
I think i'm going to make another fresh salad for dinner...Kara's cucumbers were delish!
On a side note...kara is right, the mens beach volleyball is enjoyble to watch :)

how to lose weight everywhere but your boobs?
Ok, officially day 1 for me. I bought a scale from amazon (I'm that lazy that I couldn't even go to the store to buy one, but I had to order it online). So, it should be delivered tomorrow, and as soon as it is, I'll weigh my fat ass. I did take pictures of myself last night (no, not that kind for the Holiday Hump) in shorts & a sports bra, and maybe I will be able to see the differences. The pictures were horrendous; my camera might have broke.
Yesterday I ate like shit b/c I either go big or go home, and I ran a train on some sweet frog. But after Kristina posted that cucumber, I had to go pick some more.
So, today:
breakfast: 3/4 cup ghetto food lion cheerios = 110 calories
half a small diet pepsi (I can't help it, I need my daily caffeine)
Lunch:
some low cal freezer thing = 270 calories
cucumber & ranch dressing
bag of snack cookies = 100 calories
after school, I did zumba with the bride herself for about 35ish minutes, and then I came home and Chimi & I walked for about 25ish minutes to the Bride's house b/c she was having her inspection done (I really am too night and can't say no... what have I gotten myself into?). He is currently passed out on the floor, and I'm watching last nights Breaking Bad.
Tonight I think I'm going to grill some chicken and maybe do some corn with it. What am I going to do in a world with no mac n cheese?
Here are my problems: I can't control my portion size, I don't drink enough water, I love alcohol, and I eat late. I think I'm going to try and stop eating after 7. As long as I do low calories in the morning and get some cardio in, I should be ok for dinner.
Tennis is a must soon, Rita! I bought some new workout clothes. Sports bra where my boobs barely fit and 1 pair of shorts doesn't fit my fat ass. Well, at least my hips don't lie.
Once I weigh myself and set a goal, I think I'm going to reward myself with a new Coach purse if I reach that goal.
Plus, since she is the MoH, I need to be looking better than this shiz-at.

Secondly, I just want to brag about myself a little bit - yesterday, one whole day, before we officially started I ate pretty decent...
I had left over spaghetti for lunch - which I thought I should eat before the official start, and for dinner, Josh's parents came over and wanted to go out. So we went to Vinny's where I had a house salad with oil and vinegar dressing and ONE slice of cheese pizza.....yup...color me crazy! No dessert.....but I did have a fruit chiller at 10:30 cause I was a bit munchy....
BOOM.
Woke up like a spring chicken this morning - weighed in, almost cried, and went downstairs to pack my lunch that I'm SOOOO excited about.....
