Day One Dinner - Day 2 Start

Guys - no joke.  This sucks. I'm pretty sure it's all mental...the thought of being on a diet makes me wanna punch everyone in the face. I have to keep telling myself it's not going to be as bad as I think it is - just make small changes....blah blah blah...fuck. 

I was so tired when I got home last night, I thought I was going to die. I have no idea why I was so tired but I just wanted to order a pizza and EAT.  Instead, I manned up, got my chicken out of the fridge, put a bit of olive oil on it...and sprinkled this buffalo spice rub on it. I threw that puppy on the grill, along with two hot dogs for Josh, some zuchinni for me, and an ear of corn (also for me).  Josh baked some fries in the oven because he A) hates chicken, b) hates Zuchinni and c) Corn doesn't go with hot dogs. 

Once everything came off the grill we chowed. It was alright, I love grilled Zuchinni, all I do is cut them up put them on foil, add a little bit of olive oil, not much or they'll get soggy, and salt and pepper, they get nice and mushy and so buttery flavored!! So good! The corn had nothing on it, it was bland, but I figured that was better than the amount of butter I would have justified putting on there to make it taste good. The chicken sucked....ended up dipping it in a little bit of Sweet Baby Rays....next time I'm going Italian dressing on that sucker, that rub was not tasty...

...but I ate it...I didn't have any of Josh's fries...which is hard (Kristina you know). 

After dinner, I ate one of my 55 calorie fruit chillers...that helped keep me in check for a bit...but I was still kind of hungry. I kept trying to hold out but then a popcorn commercial came on and I remembered that was a decent healthy snack - so I popped a bag and Josh and watched Mens Olympics and munched on the popcorn...

All in all, I think, not a bad night...
Poor Josh, he's trying to be supportive, but I may kill him eating like this...he's a great trooper! 

Also, I had ZERO soda yesterday, one cup of coffee with 2 splenda and 2% milk and water all day long! Be impressed that was hard. 



Today - 
I have my coffee....still drinking it (I'm slow) 

I packed for work: 
a non-fat chobani yogurt
one of those tuna pack things (pray for me) because I made the last of the deli meat in a sandwich for Josh this morning 
a banana 
and the other half of my cantaloupe cut up

Going to try to stay on the water kick. 

I also picked up my racquet it's ready to jam - so let's plan a day...

Also I was wondering if anyone wanted to come with me tonight after dinner and do some walking around Maymont - I have to scout out the place for photos and I thought we could use it as a chance to get some exercise in!!!! We can just do one section, maybe the Japanese Gardens or something!?!

I love you ladies, so much, this means the world to me. I'm also so happy you like blogging - it's fun right...it's like our own little get your shit together notebook....that you can take anywhere...

Oh - last thing - they have a "Blogger" app for your phone and ipad....just FYI, so you can blog on the go, and upload pictures from your phone to your blog at anytime!

  2. I don't know if I can go tonight; it all just depends on what time you go. The cable guy is coming over between 5-7 to set up my roommate's room. I think I'm about to take a nap & get some work done. But, let me know! :)
